The Baby Sling

Never too small or too big. It adapts to your baby’s size, fits exactly and gives perfect support. But for many parents the baby sling is too complicated, as it has to be tied correctly each and every time it is used and furthermore, many parents do not like the appearance.

Baby carriers

These are easier to use, but they have to grow with the baby. As your baby grows, more fabric is needed. So where to store the excess fabric? The standard solution is for the extra fabric to be gathered up with the baby sitting uncomfortably on it. Or that the folds of fabric are gathered at the waist belt, which is also uncomfortable for the parents.

Combination of Sling and Baby Carrier

With emeibaby there is a sling connected by the shoulder straps and the fabric can be exactly adjusted to your baby´s size. The excessfabric is not gathered up but is instead, pulled away from your baby, and neatly stored under the headrest with no contact to either you or your baby.

One time adjustment

In everyday life things must go quickly. The easy emeibaby only needs to be adjusted when used for the first time. After that, you will only need to close two buckles and the baby carrier will be put correctly on. When parents take turns to wear their baby, only the shoulder straps need to be quickly adjusted in a similar way as you would adjust a backpack.

When your partner also wears for an hour a day, this totals as two months intensive closeness for your baby.

Therefore it is important that your baby is in a good posture and comfortablesitting in the baby carrier and that carrying is also comfortable for your back. Care instructions for your baby carrier

Hand wash, no dryer, no fabric softener. Rarely wash.

Important note for the sunny time of the year:

Important! Please note for sunny times: your babys health is very important for us, therefore we use only very gentle cloured fabrics, mostly from weavings from Austria and Germany (except Girasol fabrics, as Chichi and Antigua). The dark fabric of our carriers with black stripes, headrests and straps can be bleached out by sun. To avoid this, please follow the instructions below:

• Do not leave it on the car seats / back seat in summer.
• Hang in a shady place after washing.
• When not in use, stow the baby carrier in a pocket.

If you want to avoid the color change completely, we recommend our bright designs for our baby carriers.

ATTENTION:

• Attention: Always observe your baby and make sure that the mouth and nose are always free.
• Warning: For premature babies, babies with a low birth weight or babies with health indications, you should seek medical advice before using this product.
• Caution: Make sure your baby does not touch his chest with his chin, as this can lead to impaired breathing and suffocation.
• Caution: To avoid injury from slipping/falling, make sure

that your baby is well and safely positioned in the carrier. The risk of falling out of the carrier increases with the child's increasing mobility.

• When you are not using the carrier, keep it out of the reach of children.
• Baby Size: For babies from 3 kg up to max 15 kg.
• Toddler Size: For babies from approx. 8 kg to max. 18 kg.
• Please read these instructions carefully, especially before using the device for the first time, and follow all instructions.
• Always ensure that your baby has sufficient oxygen. Your child's nose and mouth must remain free and must not be covered or pressed against your body. Pay particular attention to the instructions on the headrest.
• Before each use, check the seams, fabric, rings, buckles and buttons, especially for damage. If you notice a defect, do not use the carrier under any circumstances and contact emeibaby GmbH.
• The connecting strap between the shoulder straps must be closed during the entire carrying process!
• If the connecting strap is not yet closed when putting on or adjusting the carrier, always make sure that the shoulder straps do not slip over your shoulder.
• Make sure your baby's head is well supported. Support your baby's head with one hand when you bend or lean forward.

• Check the temperature and blood circulation of baby's legs regularly.
• Attention! The cloth will loosen if the two rings of a pair of rings are pulled apart or the lower ring is lifted.
• Attention! If the cloth is too loose around your baby's body or becomes loose, your baby may fall out of the carrier!
• Do not eat or drink anything hot and do not cook when you are carrying your baby in the emeibaby carrier.
• Have someone else help you put on the emeibaby carrier. Especially when carrying your baby on your back, you should always have someone help you when putting it on and taking it off! If necessary, ask a midwife or baby carrier consultant for help.
• Make sure that no one gets caught in the rings.
• Make sure that only the cloth is pulled through the rings and no other objects, such as your baby's or your clothing.
• Make sure that all buckles are securely fastened and never open the hip belt while your baby is in the carrier!
• Check that the rings do not touch your baby.
• When putting on the carrier, hold your baby with at least one hand until it is tightly secured according to the instructions.
