Bending over with baby carrier and headrest

Bend over with headrest

Another important tip when you bend down and your baby's head is held with the headrest: always have one hand ready to support the head in case the snap becomes loose.

In everyday life with a baby carrier, there are a few things to consider. One thing is what is the best way to bend or bend over. When you do that, the baby's whole body moves forward as well. The baby carrier supports your back and legs and arms, but what about the head?

If your baby is sleeping, you're probably using the headrest anyway. Here's how: Fasten the snap on the ribbon with the matching snap on the shoulder strap on the side where the back of the baby's head is. The head rest should fit snugly on baby's head. So the side where baby's mouth and nose and face is is free, which is important for your baby to breathe well. The side that is not needed simply hangs down folded backwards. Now when you walk around, baby's head is not dangling but is well supported by the headrest.

Hand ready at the headrest

If you now bend forward, for example because you are picking something up or tying your shoes, always have one hand ready, directly on the headrest and directly on the baby's head. Because it may be that the head is too heavy for the small push button when bending forward. Should the snap button loosen, your hand is ready to hold and support baby's head.

The headrest is not only practical when bending down, it is also a great sun protection in summer. But don't just rely on it, always use a suitable sunscreen on all parts of the body that are not covered by clothing.
